L'Oréal obtains an exclusive license for Gucci beauty

L'Oréal and Kering have entered into a 50-year exclusive global licensing agreement for Gucci beauty products. The announcement follows the early termination of the license with Coty. The agreement will take effect on July 1, 2027, subject to regulatory approvals. Until then, the two companies will collaborate to ensure a smooth transition.

Nicolas Hieronimus, CEO of L'Oréal, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, describing Gucci as a significant growth driver for the brand. Cyril Chapuy, President of L'Oréal Luxe, emphasized that the integration of Gucci strengthens L'Oréal's strategic and creative alignment.

This partnership promises to expand L'Oréal's portfolio and generate considerable revenue through the alliance of Gucci's innovation and L'Oréal's global presence.
