Arnaud Lagardère Appointed New Chairman of Prisma Media
Prisma Media has announced the appointment of Arnaud Lagardère as its new Executive Chairman, starting August 27. He takes over from Claire Léost, who is transitioning to the CMA-CGM group. The company expressed gratitude for Léost's leadership since 2021.
Gérald-Brice Viret steps into the role of Vice-Chairman, managing the Women, TV, Entertainment, Discovery, and Business divisions. Pascale Socquet will report to Viret for related titles. Arnaud de Puyfontaine, a board member of Louis Hachette Group, will focus on bolstering the Luxury division, led by Philipp Schmidt.
The new leadership aims to enhance Prisma's position within Louis Hachette Group and encourage synergy across its divisions. Lagardère expressed optimism about Prisma Media's growth potential and innovation capabilities, while Louis Hachette Group's CEO, Jean-Christophe Thiery, highlighted expected synergies.
