TECNIMONT and Baker Hughes Partner on Global LNG Projects
Maire Group's TECNIMONT and Baker Hughes have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on modularized, scalable liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects globally. This non-exclusive agreement aims to explore cooperation opportunities, particularly focusing on tenders incorporating Baker Hughes' NMBL™ LNG solution.
The MoU allows both companies to evaluate project requirements and determine the best cooperation model. This collaborative effort leverages TECNIMONT's expertise in executing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects with Baker Hughes' technology for gas liquefaction and power generation.
The global energy shift towards lower-carbon solutions enhances the relevance of LNG. Modular solutions offer flexibility and faster market entry, crucial for both energy security and decarbonization. Maire Group CEO Alessandro Bernini highlights this agreement as a strategic move to enhance the LNG value chain with high-efficiency solutions.
