Maisons du Monde is reorganizing its governance with John Browett and Marc Ténart
Maisons du Monde, a leading player in home décor, is strengthening its governance by appointing John Browett as Chairman and CEO, in addition to his existing role as Chairman of the Board. He succeeds François-Melchior de Polignac, who will step down on October 26, 2026. At the same time, Marc Ténart joins the group as Deputy CEO. Together, Browett and Ténart aim to accelerate the group's ongoing transformation.
The arrival of Marc Ténart, with his extensive experience at Castorama and Conforama, brings in-depth knowledge of the necessary operational transformations. This new management team is focused on improving product availability, the quality of the customer experience, and sales performance, while maintaining rigorous financial discipline.
