Mako Mining Corp. announced its Q4 2024 production results, highlighting record gold revenue of US$28.8 million from its San Albino gold mine in Nicaragua. The company saw a significant improvement in operational performance following a brief delay in Q3 due to permitting issues.

San Albino reported mining 46,733 tonnes with an average gold grade of 9.73 g/t and silver at 8.75 g/t. The mill processed 51,242 tonnes with a gold recovery rate of 85%, significantly boosting production to 12,053 ounces of recovered gold, a 134% increase from the previous quarter.

The company also focused on advancing its Eagle Mountain project in Guyana, engaging consultants for environmental impact assessments. Mako's strategic moves included plans to acquire the Moss gold mine in Arizona, aiming to fund this acquisition through cash generated in Q4 2024.
