MCH Group Reports Strong Financial Performance in H1 2026
MCH Group AG announced robust financial results for the first half of 2026. Despite geopolitical challenges, particularly in the Middle East, the company showed resilience, marking its fourth consecutive positive half-year result. Operating revenue grew by 12%, reaching CHF 248.8 million, while EBITDA increased significantly to CHF 34.3 million from CHF 18.9 million in the prior year. Net profit also rose to CHF 18.6 million.
The growth was fueled by successful events such as the first Art Basel Qatar, which, along with other major events like CONEXPO in Las Vegas and Swissbau in Basel, contributed to the increase in operating income. MCH Exhibitions & Events and Live Marketing Solutions divisions also performed well, executing over 875 projects despite regional conflicts and currency impacts.
Furthermore, MCH Group expanded into new markets with a 20% stake in Jupiter Festival Miami and plans for the Futurific Institute in Basel by 2028. CEO Andrea Zappia expressed confidence in the company's strategic moves and resilience.
