Medaro Mining to Acquire Silver-Zinc Project in Sweden
Medaro Mining Corp. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire up to a 100% stake in the Sala Silver-Zinc Project in central Sweden. The agreement with Sinclair Gold Ltd allows Medaro to incrementally acquire interest in the project by making cash payments, issuing shares, and incurring exploration expenditures. The total potential expenditure amounts to CDN $1,750,000, with additional shares and cash payments to Sinclair.
The earn-in agreement permits Medaro to initially secure a 90% interest in the project, with the option to attain full ownership. Upon reaching a 90% interest, Sinclair retains a net smelter return royalty of 1%, which increases to 2% if Medaro achieves a 100% stake. Necessary approvals and satisfactory completion of exploration activities are crucial for the agreement's fruition.
This move marks a strategic expansion for Medaro, enhancing its portfolio with Sala's promising potential for silver and zinc exploration. Sinclair views the collaboration as a key step forward, with Medaro poised to harness the site's potential through focused efforts.
