Meridian Mining Expands High-Grade Gold-Copper Ore Zone at Cabaçal

Meridian Mining SE has reported successful drilling results at their Cabaçal VMS project, revealing significant extensions of high-grade gold-copper-silver ore. Notably, drill hole CD-654 returned 9.9 meters with an impressive 14.8g/t gold equivalent from a shallow depth, including a section grading 276g/t gold.

The findings bolster the potential for more shallow, high-grade mineralization. This development comes as the company prepares core samples for dispatch to a Canadian laboratory for the Definitive Feasibility Study phase, aiming to produce concentrate samples for commercial interest.

These results form a part of ongoing efforts to explore untapped extensions within the Cabaçal belt. Continued drilling aims to enhance resource estimates for future feasibility studies, solidifying Cabaçal's status as a prominent gold-copper VMS belt in South America.
