Metallic Minerals Increases La Plata Resource by 23%

Metallic Minerals Corp. has reported a 23% increase in the inferred resource at the Allard deposit within the La Plata project in Colorado. The updated estimate includes significant additions of platinum, palladium, and gold. This expansion is based on 4,530 meters of new diamond drilling since 2023.

The 2026 mineral resource estimate now encompasses 181.4 million tonnes, averaging 0.36% copper equivalent, containing 1,307 million pounds of copper and 17.0 million ounces of silver. A subset of 45.4 million tonnes includes valuable platinum group elements and gold.

Two continuous mineralized shells characterize the deposit, supported by Metallic’s multi-element drill core sampling. The inclusion of these precious metals raises the copper-equivalent grade by 17% for the 45.4 million tonne subset.

The deposit remains open for expansion, with undiscovered potential in other areas of the La Plata project. The company's strategic development includes advancing resource expansion and assay work, with collaborations to develop efficient extraction technologies.
