METLEN Enters Third Era with Major Transformation

METLEN Energy & Metals has unveiled its third strategic transformation, called "The Third Era - Progress in Motion." This new phase is aimed at doubling the company's scale, a goal previously discussed at their Capital Markets Day. METLEN has a track record of successful transformations, supported by a solid financial foundation and strategic vision.

Significant changes include the appointment of Evangelos Mytilineos as Group Executive Chairman and Christos Gavalas as Group CEO. The company restructures its Energy Sector into two pillars, focusing on renewables and integrated utility services. The Metals Sector continues to emphasize the aluminum value chain under Dimitris Stefanidis.

The transformation also brings enhancements in leadership roles, with a focus on long-term value creation through an optimized operating model aligned with corporate governance practices.
