First quarter 2025 results for the M6 Group
The Métropole TV Group has unveiled its results for the first quarter of 2025. Despite an uncertain economic environment, consolidated revenue reached €314.9 million, supported by increased video advertising revenue.
Video advertising revenue totaled €222 million, representing a 0.8% increase compared to the previous year. However, non-advertising revenue declined, mainly due to a decline in the film sector.
The streaming segment experienced strong growth, increasing by 26% and now representing 9.9% of total video revenue. Furthermore, M6+ observed an expansion in the number of unique users and viewing time.
The group's EBITA stood at €48.1 million, although streaming costs weighed on profitability. A dividend of €1.25 will be paid on May 5.
