AKWEL Reports 2025 Revenue Decline, Foresees Challenges Ahead

AKWEL, a key player in the automotive and heavy goods vehicle industry, announced a consolidated revenue of €938.3 million for 2025, marking a 5.1% decrease from 2024. The revenue fall reflects challenges across various markets and product lines, despite growth in Cooling, Fuel, and Oil sectors.

The company reported a significant fourth-quarter revenue drop of 10.2%, mainly influenced by a €5.8 million negative currency impact, predominantly from the US dollar. Yearly revenue saw a 4.1% decline when adjusted for constant scope and exchange rates.

Looking ahead, AKWEL anticipates a sharper revenue drop in 2026, driven by market inertia, slower electric vehicle adoption, and increased competition from Chinese manufacturers. In response, AKWEL plans to enforce rigorous cost controls while focusing on customer satisfaction and innovation.
