Michael Klingele Appointed as Skyborn Renewables' COO
Skyborn Renewables GmbH has announced the appointment of Michael Klingele as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO), starting 1 July 2026. Klingele will oversee global operations and project delivery, emphasizing execution excellence in Skyborn’s offshore wind portfolio.
Klingele brings over three decades of experience in offshore wind and infrastructure projects. His expertise spans development to execution and includes leadership roles in Europe and Asia, managing multi-billion-dollar ventures. Notably, he led the successful turnaround of the Formosa 2 project in Taiwan.
He succeeds Thomas Karst, who has guided Skyborn through significant transformation and growth phases. CEO Patrick Lammers praised Karst's contributions and expressed confidence in Klingele's role in driving continued growth and project execution.
