MicroVision and LAKE FUSION Forge Strategic Partnership for Lidar Sensors
MicroVision, Inc. has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with LAKE FUSION Technologies (LFT). The agreement focuses on the integration of MicroVision's IRIS™ lidar sensors into LFT's Awareness Systems (AS-1) for helicopter operations, enhancing safety and obstacle detection.
This agreement underscores a commercial milestone following earlier announcements to quicken the use of IRIS lidar technology. The collaboration now sets a framework for developing lidar-based awareness solutions.
The IRIS sensors, pivotal for both day and night operations, enhance obstacle detection in challenging environments, crucial for helicopter missions like rescue operations and complex maneuvers.
