Mobimo Expands Development Portfolio with Meggen Site Acquisition
Lucerne, 4 September 2025 – Mobimo has secured a 12,000 m2 site in Meggen, near Lake Lucerne. The new project plans include around 70 condominium units, bolstering Mobimo's development pipeline. Meggen is a highly sought-after residential area in Central Switzerland. The plot on Neueggweg remains largely undeveloped and lies within a residential zone. Mobimo plans to invest CHF 120 million in the project, which is scheduled to complete by the end of 2032.
The land acquisition occurred on 1 September 2025 from a private real estate company. Demand for prime residential properties is strong, and Mobimo aims to leverage its regional expertise. This acquisition follows the success of its previous projects in the region, including developments in Merlischachen and Oberägeri. The company completed the "Grace" project in Meggen in 2022.
