Molten Ventures Invests in Modo Energy and Realises Value in ICEYE

Molten Ventures has announced a significant investment in Modo Energy as part of a £25 million Series B funding round. The venture capital firm invested £12.5 million, aiming to support Modo Energy's expansion into 20 new markets. Modo Energy focuses on benchmarking and valuing electrification assets and is poised to lead transformation in this sector through AI.

In a separate move, Molten Ventures has partially realised its investment in ICEYE—a company operating the world's largest SAR satellite constellation. Following a new fundraising round, ICEYE's valuation has increased to €2.4 billion. Molten Ventures generated approximately £17.5 million from this realisation, with its remaining investment now valued at £85 million.

These activities contribute to Molten Ventures' financial year target of £104 million in realisations, supporting investment activities and a share buyback programme.
