Monkey Island LNG has selected ConocoPhillips' Optimized Cascade® Process for its planned liquefaction and export facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The decision follows a thorough evaluation of multiple technologies, with the chosen process noted for its operational flexibility and high efficiency. This marks a significant step in Monkey Island LNG's goal to provide customers with competitively priced LNG.
The 246-acre site in Louisiana benefits from strategic access to deepwater shipping routes and abundant U.S. natural gas supplies. ConocoPhillips’ technology is expected to enhance project reliability and efficiency while reducing costs and risks.
