MPC Capital Divests Largest Solar Plant in Jamaica

On April 16, 2025, MPC Münchmeyer Petersen Capital AG announced the sale of Jamaica's largest solar power facility, Paradise Park. This 51 MWp solar park was transferred from MPC Caribbean Clean Energy Limited to InterEnergy Group. Situated in Jamaica, Paradise Park was initiated in 2019 and marked MPC Capital's first Caribbean venture, pivotal for Jamaica's energy sustainability objectives. Neoen, alongside French and Dutch development banks, PROPARCO and FMO, collaborated in the project.

Dr. Philipp Lauenstein, CFO of MPC Capital, highlighted the project's significance, noting its comprehensive management from inception to sale. MPC Capital continues its focus on infrastructure investment, contributing to global climate objectives with assets totaling EUR 5.1 billion.
