MUNIC's 2026 Half-Year Results: Persistent Challenges Despite Rising Gross Margin
MUNIC, a specialist in embedded technologies, announced revenues of €3.1 million for the first half of 2026, a significant decrease compared to €7.0 million the previous year. This decline stems from a drop in orders from major clients, particularly impacting sales of Smart Dongles products (-69%).
The gross margin, however, improved, reaching 53.1% thanks to the increased share of Services. Adjusted EBITDA amounted to €0.6 million, with a margin up to 18.2%. The net result, although negative, was -€1.0 million.
Financially, MUNIC has strengthened its structure thanks to €1 million in funding from Bpifrance and has extended its cash horizon until July 2027. These funds will support the development of new solutions in high-potential markets.
