Mutares Acquires Leading Balkan E-commerce Platforms

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has signed an agreement to acquire Mimovrste, Mall.hr, and IT resources from Allegro Group. This acquisition strengthens Mutares’ Goods & Services segment with market-leading e-commerce platforms in Slovenia and Croatia. The transaction is expected to close in Q1 2026.

Mimovrste, Slovenia's top e-commerce site, had over 600,000 buyers and 48 million site visits in 2024. Mall.hr, among Croatia's top five e-commerce platforms, offers growth potential and strong brand recognition. Combined, the platforms feature 2 million listings across 20+ categories, supported by local sourcing and trusted brands.

Generating approximately EUR 100 million in revenue, these companies employ over 250 people, operating physical stores and benefiting from a robust logistics network. Johannes Laumann, CIO of Mutares, highlights the strategic value and growth potential of this acquisition for regional expansion.
