Mutares Agrees to Sell Peugeot Motocycles to Existing Management

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has received an irrevocable offer from the current management to buy Peugeot Motocycles. The established manufacturer of two and three-wheeler scooters reported revenues of approximately EUR 140 million, with a strong presence in Europe and Asia. The sale is expected to finalize in the second quarter of 2026, following necessary consultations and conditions.

Under Mutares' ownership since 2023, Peugeot Motocycles underwent significant transformation. Key achievements included acquiring DAB Motors and a partnership with Sherco, emphasizing growth in the premium and electric sectors. These efforts bolstered market position, especially in France.

The management team has been crucial in strategic developments, such as launching the new Pulsion Evo. They plan to continue Peugeot Motocycles' growth trajectory with a robust strategy.

Johannes Laumann, CIO of Mutares, expressed confidence that the management will effectively lead the next growth phase.
