Mutares Concludes Exit from Terranor Group with High Investor Interest

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has finalized its exit from Terranor Group by selling its remaining 46.3% share to institutional investors. The sale was executed through a private placement facilitated by DNB Carnegie and SB1 Markets. The demand from global investors was notably high.

Mutares initially acquired Terranor's operations in Sweden and Finland in 2020, followed by Denmark in 2021. The company's transformation under Mutares ownership resulted in significant growth and enhanced market positioning, securing 31% of the 2026 Swedish tender contracts. Throughout its holding period, Mutares gained gross proceeds of around EUR 50 million, exceeding its return on investment targets.

This strategic divestment aligns with Mutares' approach of selling companies post-turnaround, contributing to cash inflows and shareholder value. Terranor remains a pivotal player in the Nordic infrastructure market, bolstered by increased Swedish road budgets for 2026-2037.
