Mutares Divests Peugeot Motocycles to Management Team

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has announced the sale of Peugeot Motocycles to its current management team. Peugeot Motocycles is a notable European manufacturer focusing on premium scooters and motorcycles, with a presence in both European and Asian markets, generating revenues of approximately EUR 140 million.

Under Mutares' majority ownership since 2023, the company has achieved strategic transformations to enhance market positioning and increase efficiency. Key accomplishments include acquiring DAB Motors to expand into the premium and electric segments, and collaborating with Sherco to launch the new XP6 motorcycle.

The management team plans to continue internationalizing the brand and expanding its product lineup, exemplified by the recent introduction of the Pulsion Evo. This marks a significant step in their growth and strategic plan for the coming years.
