NanoViricides Gains Approval for Ebola Treatment Trial in Congo

As Ebola continues to spread in the Democratic Republic of Congo, NanoViricides, Inc. announces approval to proceed with a Phase II clinical trial for NV-387 Oral Gummies, targeting the Bundibugyo Ebolavirus. This trial is set to commence following necessary submissions to ACOREP, the Democratic Republic of Congo's regulatory body.

The current outbreak has resulted in 1,926 cases and 702 deaths. Despite the escalating situation, there remains no approved treatment for this Ebola strain. The NV-387 gummies, already available in the DRC, aim to fill this gap if proven effective in upcoming trials.
