Newton Cinema Debuts at Cannes Market and Unveils New Salim Ahamed Film
Newton Cinema has made its debut in the Cannes market, showcasing its auteur-driven films at the Marché du Film. Among the highlights is a screening of MAYILAA, directed by Semmalar Annam, at Lérins Cinéma Club. Newton Cinema's international presence is marked by its diverse language film slate, including Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, English, French, and German.
Additionally, the company announced "LEFTOVER", the fifth directorial feature by Salim Ahamed. The film stars Arjun Radhakrishnan and features a talented crew. Salim Ahamed, recognized for his award-winning work on "Abu, Son of Adam", describes LEFTOVER as a narrative transcending borders, filled with silence and memory.
