NextSource Materials Clarifies Forecasted Information
NextSource Materials Inc., a Toronto-based company, recently clarified details from its October 1, 2025, press release. The initial release concerned a Technical and Economic Study for a Battery Anode Facility (BAF) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The information included projections of revenue and production estimates for the estimated 33-year operation of the BAF.
The Ontario Securities Commission noted that long-term financial forecasts should usually not extend beyond the end of the upcoming fiscal year. Therefore, NextSource retracted previously published long-term forecasted information to comply with regulatory standards.
The company emphasized that the retraction does not indicate a change in its financial outlook or future plans, except for acknowledging delays due to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. NextSource maintains its ambition to develop the BAF project in the UAE despite these setbacks.
