NiobiumX Mining Identifies Key Exploration Target at Shipshaw Property
NiobiumX Mining Inc. has announced the primary exploration target at its Shipshaw Property in Quebec's Saguenay region. This revelation follows data from a Geological Survey of Canada which indicated two magnetic anomalies north of the Saguenay River. One anomaly aligns with the existing Niobec niobium mine, while the second lies within NiobiumX's territory and remains unexplored.
In 2010-2011, drilling focused on the magnetic rims of the carbonatite core revealed carbonatite in all drill holes, suggesting further potential. The Company prioritizes a detailed imaging of the mineralized target, deploying high-resolution magnetics and radiometrics to determine its size and orientation.
The appointment of Matthew Schwab, a seasoned exploration geologist, to the Board of Directors will bolster the Company's efforts. Schwab's experience in significant mineral discoveries is expected to be pivotal as NiobiumX aims to systematically explore this promising target.
