Nordex Group Secures 110MW Wind Farm Order in Türkiye
Hamburg-based Nordex Group has announced securing a 110MW wind farm order from Eksim Enerji in Türkiye. The project, located in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir province, involves the supply and installation of 16 N175/6.X wind turbines, known for their high performance in cold climates. These turbines, placed on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 119 meters, aim to maximize energy yields amid favorable wind conditions.
The contract includes a 10-year Premium Service Agreement, underscoring a commitment to long-term efficiency. This order strengthens the companies' partnership, dating back to 2010, and aligns with Türkiye’s renewable energy goals, meeting local content requirements as per the YEKA‑2025 specification.
