Nordex Group Secures 65 MW Wind Turbine Orders in France

On 27 May 2025, Nordex Group announced receiving two significant contracts for wind turbine installation in France. The contracts involve the supply of 13 wind turbines, including six N163/5.X, six N131/3.X, and one N149/5.X model. Together, these turbines will provide a total installed capacity of 64.7 MW. Each contract also incorporates a multi-year service agreement to ensure turbine efficiency and reliability over time.
The installations are set to begin in mid-2026, targeting wind farms located in the Morbihan and Aisne regions. Morbihan will host 3 MW class turbines with an 84-meter hub height. Aisne will feature 5 MW class turbines on towers reaching 118 and 125 meters. The names of the specific customers and wind farms remain undisclosed.
