Nordex Group Secures 82 MW Wind Turbine Orders from EFG Energy Farming Group
On August 13, 2026, the Nordex Group announced that it has received orders from the EFG Energy Farming Group to supply and install twelve wind turbines in Lower Saxony, Germany. These projects include “Erlte-Endel” in Vechta with five N175/6.X turbines and “Bad Essen” in Osnabrück with seven turbines comprising five N175/6.X and two N163/6.X models. The total capacity is approximately 82 MW, and both projects include a 20-year Premium Service agreement.
Initial infrastructure work is expected to start at the end of 2026, with installation planned for 2027 and commissioning by spring 2028. These projects involve collaboration with local landowners and community energy companies, who will manage the wind farms. This partnership is seen as a model for combining regional involvement with modern technology to achieve energy transition goals.
