Nordex Group Secures Major Wind Turbine Order in Finland
At the end of March, Nordex Group, a manufacturer in the renewable energy industry, confirmed a significant deal with OX2, a Swedish renewable energy firm. The agreement involves supplying 70 N175/6.X wind turbines in Finland, with a total capacity of 472 MW. These orders mark the introduction of the N175/6.X variant from the Delta4000 series in the Nordic region.
The projects, located in Central and South Ostrobothnia, will include adaptations for cold climates, along with advanced anti-icing technology for some turbines. Delivery and installation are anticipated in 2026 and 2027, with commissioning expected by 2028. This agreement emphasizes Nordex's role in advancing renewable energy technologies in challenging climates.
