Nordex Group Secures 82 MW Order from WNE in Germany
The Nordex Group announced receiving new orders from Westfälisch-Niedersächsische Energie GmbH & Co. KG (WNE) for the supply and installation of twelve N175/6.X wind turbines in Germany. This development involves three projects in the Höxter district of North Rhine-Westphalia, amounting to a total capacity of 82 MW. A 20-year Premium Service contract accompanies these orders.
Deployment will cover the Dringenberg project with seven turbines, Gehrden Ost with three, and two at Gehrden Fölsen extension. Construction is set to commence mid-2027. This order follows previous collaborations, including a March project supplying three turbines for Marienmünster-Altenbergen, marking the continued partnership between Nordex and WNE.
WNE's Managing Director, Alexander Möhring, expressed enthusiasm for contributing to Europe's energy transition with Nordex. Felipe Villalon Waldburg-Zeil from Nordex highlighted the importance of their advanced turbine technology in these ventures.
