NORMA Group Reports Steady 2024 Earnings with Cautious 2025 Outlook

NORMA Group, based in Maintal, Germany, reported a 5.5% decline in sales for 2024, totaling EUR 1,155.1 million, influenced by decreased demand in key sectors such as automotive and mechanical engineering. This was counteracted by growth in water management solutions. Despite the sales drop, the company maintained sound profitability, with an adjusted EBIT of EUR 92.3 million and an 8.0% EBIT margin.
In 2024, cash flow surged to EUR 105.4 million, and a dividend of EUR 0.40 per share is proposed. The company forecasts 2025 sales between EUR 1.1 and 1.2 billion and an EBIT margin of 6-8%, amidst a volatile market. Sales declined sharply in Europe and Asia, while remaining relatively stable in the Americas.
The management remains focused on expanding the industrial business, navigating geopolitical challenges, and cautiously optimistic for an improved second half of 2025.
