Norsemont Mining Aims for Environmental Impact Declaration by December 2026

Norsemont Mining Inc. has partnered with DAES Consultores to finalize an Environmental Impact Declaration (EID) for their Choquelimpie project in northern Chile by December 2026. This initiative aims to navigate regulatory processes for the project's development effectively. As of now, biologists are onsite conducting biological assessments, with further visits planned throughout the year.

Carolina Morgan, an experienced project manager, leads the environmental team, coordinating with DAES for the EID's completion. Key assessments scheduled between March and November 2026 include cultural heritage surveys, air quality modeling, and traffic impact studies, among others. The completed EID is expected to pave the way for regulatory approvals and project advancement.

Norsemont CEO Marc Levy states this collaboration is a crucial step for the company's flagship property as they seek regulatory backing while further exploring and drilling resources.
