Norsemont Mining Reports Positive Drill Results at Choquelimpie Project

Norsemont Mining Inc. has announced promising assay results from two additional Phase 3 drill holes at its Choquelimpie project in northern Chile. The highlights include DD05, which intersected 20 meters averaging 1.20 g/t gold equivalent, ending at the bottom of the hole. The Phase 3 drill program aims to enhance the understanding of high-sulfidation gold, silver, and copper mineralization at Choquelimpie, as well as support potential resource growth. Seven core holes, totaling approximately 1,650 meters, have been completed to date.

The Choquelimpie project, known for its challenging hydrothermal breccia targets, saw significant intersections in holes DD04 and DD05. In DD04, the company uncovered a 28-meter interval with an average of 0.97 g/t gold equivalent. Elevated lead and zinc grades were also detected alongside gold mineralization in DD05. These results help refine drill targets and project management remains optimistic about the deeper gold prospects.
