Norsemont Mining Reveals Significant Metal Values in Choquelimpie Drilling

Norsemont Mining Inc. has announced promising base-metal assay results from three drill holes at their Choquelimpie site. The outcomes, displaying elevated levels of copper, lead, and zinc, contribute to refining drilling targets. These results advance the geological understanding of the area and aim to expand resource growth through the ongoing drilling program.

The highlights include a 24-meter section in DD03 averaging 0.95 g/t AuEq with 0.29% Cu and significant intersections of high-grade lead and zinc across all holes, particularly in DD01 and DD02. CEO Marc Levy expressed optimism in the elevated gold and base metal findings, suggesting potential for a porphyry system.

The drilling program evaluated extensions of gold mineralization within hydrothermal breccia zones. Further results are anticipated, and findings will be integrated into the broader geological model. The drill samples undergo thorough geochemical analysis to verify assay accuracy.
