North Shore Uranium Advances Rio Puerco Towards Drill Phase
North Shore Uranium Ltd. has announced significant progress on its Rio Puerco uranium project in New Mexico. The company has filed a Minimal Impact Exploration Operation Permit Application and staked 19 new mining claims at the project site. A drill program is planned for May 2026, aiming to validate historical resource data.
North Shore intends to transition from historical to modern resource standards, aiming to confirm both historical data and new uranium mineralization. The drill program will involve 27 sites, mainly in Section 18, to update the project's potential.
The company is also pursuing a listing on the OTCQB Venture Market in the U.S., seeking enhanced visibility and liquidity. This move reflects the increasing interest in domestic uranium production amid growing governmental support.
