NRJ Group Reports Decrease in Half-Year Revenue for 2026
NRJ Group announced its 2026 half-year results, revealing a 3.5% decline in consolidated revenue, amounting to €149.4 million, compared to the previous year. The Media division faced a 5.4% drop, attributed mainly to a tough advertising market in France, despite the Broadcasting division showing a 1.7% increase. Current operating profit fell by 64% to €3.2 million.
Despite these challenges, the Group's net profit increased to €6.3 million, marking a 40% rise. Operating changes, including program schedule adjustments and content development, were initiated to boost the Group’s market position.
Financially, NRJ Group maintains a robust standing with a net cash surplus of €373.2 million. The Group remains focused on strengthening its digital and radio synergy to engage a broader audience and adapt to the evolving media landscape.
