NRJ Group Reports Slight Revenue Decline in Q1 2026
NRJ Group recorded a small dip in its consolidated revenue for the first quarter of 2026, reporting €71.9 million, a decrease of 1.5% compared to the same period in 2025. This decrement was chiefly influenced by regulatory impacts and changes in revenue recognition for its NRJ Hits channel.
The Media division saw a 2.1% decline, primarily due to reduced radio revenues, despite radio stations maintaining strong audience shares. NRJ, Nostalgie, Chérie FM, and Rire & Chansons collectively attracted over 8.9 million daily listeners, with NRJ leading private radio in the 25-49 demographic.
The Broadcasting division maintained stable revenue at €21.2 million, offsetting regulatory impacts with organic growth. It captured significant market shares across DTT, DAB+, and FM broadcasting.
Amid persistent economic uncertainties, NRJ Group's outlook for 2026 remains conservative, with limited visibility in the advertising landscape.
