NVision and Aarhus University Secure Grant for Advanced MRI Project

NVision Imaging Technologies GmbH and Aarhus University have been awarded a €5.4 million grant from Innovation Fund Denmark for their MIRAQLE project. This funding aims to enhance MRI technology for early liver cancer detection, moving quantum-enhanced diagnostics from lab to clinic.

The MIRAQLE project seeks to improve cancer diagnostics by making metabolic activities visible during MRI scans, potentially allowing earlier disease detection and precise treatment monitoring. This initiative is significant for conditions like hepatocellular carcinoma, where early diagnosis is crucial yet challenging.

NVision’s proprietary POLARIS technology, rooted in quantum physics, enhances MRI sensitivity up to 100,000 times, offering a radiation-free diagnostic alternative. This boost in sensitivity aids in detecting small cellular changes, crucial for developing effective treatments.

This project is a part of NVision's growing portfolio of European research collaborations, highlighting strong support for advancing quantum medical technologies.
