NVision Expands Quantum-Enhanced MRI Research to Japan

NVision Quantum Technologies has deployed its POLARIS™ platform at Hokkaido University in Japan. This marks the company's inaugural deployment in Japan, positioning Hokkaido University as a pivotal research partner in the Asia-Pacific region. POLARIS enhances MRI capabilities by hyperpolarizing MRI signals, making it 10,000 times more potent and enabling real-time metabolic imaging. This technique is particularly beneficial for evaluating therapy effectiveness swiftly.

Hokkaido University, internationally acknowledged for its metabolic imaging expertise, will utilize POLARIS to delve into brain metabolic changes linked to disorders like depression and anxiety. This initiative is spearheaded by Professor Shingo Matsumoto, a leader in parahydrogen-based hyperpolarization research.

This venture aligns with NVision's strategy of collaborating with top-tier global research institutions, contributing to a network that now includes esteemed organizations such as the University of Cambridge and Yonsei University.
