OLB Names Johannes Knolle as Head of Acquisition Finance
Oldenburgische Landesbank AG (OLB) has announced the appointment of Johannes Knolle as the new Head of Acquisition Finance, effective January 1, 2027. Knolle joins from DZ Bank, where he served as Head of Acquisition and Leveraged Finance since 2014. His extensive experience in the field includes roles at UniCredit and Dresdner Kleinwort.
Acquisition Finance is a key growth area within OLB's Corporates & Diversified Lending segment. The appointment underlines the bank’s commitment to expanding this strategic business segment. Chris Eggert, OLB's CIO, expressed confidence in Knolle's ability to bolster the bank's market presence and further develop its lending segment.
Knolle will lead a team of approximately 30 employees, managing an Acquisition Finance portfolio exceeding EUR 2 billion as of the end of 2025. This strategic move aims to fortify OLB’s position within the financial sector under the ownership of TARGO Deutschland GmbH.
