OMRON Envisions 2025 as a Catalyst for a Natural Society

OMRON Corporation has outlined a vision for 2025, marking a transition from an "Optimization Society" to an "Autonomous Society," ultimately progressing towards a "Natural Society." At the Osaka Expo 2025, experts discussed creating a decentralized, harmonious coexistence of humans, nature, and technology.

Ikuo Tateishi of the Human Renaissance Institute highlighted the limits of current maximization systems. He advocated for co-creating a society in harmony with technology, emphasizing "automation that makes people alive." Audrey Tang introduced "Plurality OS," a new societal steering paradigm.

Masaki Suwa from OMRON emphasized the importance of moving away from central control to create balance through organic coordination. AI and robotics are envisioned as distributed partners contributing to societal empathy capital. The initiative invites global innovators to contribute to this shift towards a natural society.
