One Street Studios Joins Afreximbank's $1 Billion Pan African Film Fund

Afreximbank and the Fund for Export Development in Africa (FEDA) have named One Street Studios as Co-General Partner for the Pan African Film Fund. This initiative aims to raise up to $1 billion to boost Africa's film and creative industries, launched under the Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) program.

The fund emphasizes growth in the film, television, and immersive media sectors while targeting projects with export potential. Beyond financing, it addresses structural constraints to enhance production, distribution, and streaming capabilities across the continent.

By investing across the entire audiovisual value chain, the fund seeks to establish a competitive film ecosystem. This partnership aligns finance with creative expertise, bridging African narratives with global markets.
