Opening of the 18th Lyon Contemporary Art Biennial

The 18th Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale began on September 19 and will continue until December 13, 2026. Entitled "From one dream to another", it spans 11 locations in the city, bringing together 120 artists and nearly 400 works under the curatorship of Catherine Nichols.

The main venue, Les Grandes Locos, hosts a large portion of the exhibitions. Other key locations include the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Museum of Textiles. The Biennale Pass, costing between €18 and €25, grants access to all exhibition venues.

This edition explores human connections in today's economy, questioning our capacity to transform the present through collective action and imagination. Thierry Ehrmann's work, "Dialogue Between a Thinker and AI," complements this theme with its perspective on artificial intelligence.
