Altice France Extends Exclusivity Period for Potential Telecom Deal

Stock price chart of ORANGE (EPA:ORA) showing fluctuations.

On April 17, Bouygues Telecom, the Free–iliad Group, and Orange submitted a new offer valuing Altice France assets at 20.35 billion euros. Initially, Altice France granted these companies an exclusivity period until May 15, 2026. Given ongoing constructive discussions, this period has been extended to June 5, 2026. Despite this extension, there remains uncertainty about reaching an agreement.

The exclusivity extension reflects the complexity and significance of the transaction. This potential deal involves major telecom players aiming to secure valuable Altice France assets. If successful, it could reshape the landscape of telecommunications in the region.
