Bouygues Telecom, Free-iliad Group, and Orange have jointly submitted a non-binding offer to acquire a significant portion of Altice's telecommunications operations in France. The proposed acquisition targets most of SFR's assets while excluding certain Altice stakes such as Intelcia, UltraEdge, and French overseas activities. The consortium aims to enhance network resilience, cybersecurity, and AI technologies while maintaining a competitive market.

The offer values the targeted Altice assets at €17 billion, implying an enterprise value of over €21 billion for Altice France. Bouygues Telecom, Free-iliad, and Orange plan to divide the activities among themselves, with Bouygues Telecom focusing on B2B and rural mobile networks, while B2C operations will be split between all three companies.

The next steps include due diligence and a confirmatory offer, subject to regulatory approvals. The transition period would involve a joint company managing operations, with Altice employees being integral during this phase. No guarantee exists that the offer will result in a final agreement.
