OSCP Unveils NavigationGate to Combat Satellite Signal Loss
OSCP Motion Sensing Inc., a Montreal-based company, announced the release of NavigationGate, an inertial navigation system designed for platforms losing satellite signals. The launch comes amid rising concerns over radio-frequency interference affecting up to 38% of European air traffic, as reported by EUROCONTROL.
NavigationGate transforms OSCP's inertial measurement units (IMUs) into comprehensive navigation systems. By integrating inertial data with GNSS and customer sensors, it provides continuous positional data. The system is compatible with OSCP's MK2 IMU family, and in tests, demonstrated superior accuracy compared to MEMS units.
Measuring 75.5 by 58.5 by 30 millimeters and operating on 12 to 34 volts, NavigationGate is designed and manufactured in Montreal. It aims to address the continuity issues clients face in environments with GNSS outages.
