OSMOSUN Group 2024 Financial Report
The OSMOSUN Group, a specialist in solar-powered water desalination, has reported revenue of €1.9 million for the 2024 financial year, ending December 31. This amount is below the initial target of €2.6 million, mainly due to cost overruns on projects in Mauritania and Cape Verde.
In 2024, OSMOSUN sold nine desalination units, bringing the total to 78 units since its inception. These facilities helped avoid 7,439 tons of CO2 and produce approximately 4.5 million cubic meters of water.
The order book stood at €0.7 million at the end of 2024, down from the previous year. To stabilize its financial situation, OSMOSUN is exploring additional financing options while pursuing a cost-cutting plan.
