Pace Analytical Services Woburn Lab Earns CDC Elite Proficiency Designation
Pace® Analytical Services announced that its Woburn, Massachusetts laboratory has achieved proficiency from the Environmental Legionella Isolation Techniques Evaluation Program (CDC-ELITE). This recognition by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) underscores the lab's expertise in identifying and isolating Legionella bacteria, responsible for causing diseases like Legionnaires' and Pontiac fever.
Rob DeMalo, Vice President of Operations for Building Sciences at Pace®, stated that achieving this status reflects their commitment to providing top-tier Legionella testing services, aiming for a safer environment. The Woburn lab is now one of ten Pace® laboratories nationwide to hold the CDC-ELITE status.
